In a recent episode of the G3 Pulse podcast, Max Meltzer, the CEO of Vancouver-based gaming technology firm Strive Gaming, shed light on the company's strategic evolution within the market, its technological advancements, and product development.
Meltzer delved into the firm's foray into online casino markets over the preceding months, emphasizing the organization's unequivocal commitment to becoming North America's foremost player account management system (PAM) provider.
"The total focus of the organization is to be the leading PAM in North America," asserted Meltzer. "We're benefiting from the increasing trend of outsourcing and the recognition of specialized expertise, particularly in the critical realm of PAM."
Highlighting Strive Gaming's recent collaboration with Four Winds Casinos in Michigan, Meltzer underscored the heightened activity in the state's online casino landscape. Four Winds Casinos, which oversees three establishments in Michigan and one in Indiana, aligns with Strive Gaming's vision for expansion and technological prowess.
As reported by Gambling.com, the Michigan online casino market is anticipated to achieve a substantial revenue milestone, projected to reach $2 billion in 2024, according to data from the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
With 15 online casinos currently operating in Michigan, industry giants like Caesars and BetMGM dominate market share, while operators focusing on sports betting and online casinos, such as FanDuel and DraftKings, also hold prominent positions.
Strive Gaming is banking on its profound expertise in the North American gaming industry and its cutting-edge gaming platform to provide innovative solutions for Four Winds Casino's online gaming expansion plans. Clayton Mason, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Four Winds expressed confidence that Strive Gaming's technology and extensive online gaming experience will enhance its existing online casino platform.
Owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan and Indiana, Four Winds Casinos is poised to benefit from Strive Gaming's rapid expansion strategy as it aligns itself with key players in regulated markets. In December, Strive partnered with PointsBet Canada to serve as their online casino partner in Ontario, leveraging its tech platform to integrate diverse content providers into a thriving casino market that generated $13.7 billion in wagers in Q3 2023, according to iGaming Ontario.
Reflecting on Strive Gaming's journey, Meltzer stated, "We've really established ourselves now. Our complete focus is to try and be that number one provider and be excellent at what we do. So, it's been quite a journey and been very enjoyable so far."
Anticipating more deals and licensing announcements, Meltzer revealed ongoing efforts to secure licenses in states like Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Strive Gaming is already operational in Colorado with Betsafe, Arizona with Desert Diamond and Golden Nugget, and in Ontario with Betsson, with imminent plans for collaboration with PointsBet.
Highlighting the potential of tribal operators like Four Winds, Meltzer emphasized their vast opportunities, substantial databases, and loyal customer base. He expressed the belief that these operators possess untapped potential for an omnichannel experience, poised for activation to enhance player lifetime values.
