Wazdan, the prominent software developer, has inked a significant deal to provide its array of games to Loto-Québec, marking its debut in the province.
Loto-Québec customers can now access Wazdan's portfolio through the operator's website, facilitated by Light & Wonder's aggregate platform.
François Hardy, Loto-Québec Product and Innovation Director expressed satisfaction with the partnership, stating, "As the sole iGaming operator in Québec, we pride ourselves on offering titles that truly add value to our platform. We are happy to bring Wazdan's games to our players."
The titles now available in Québec include 9 Coins, Grand Gold Edition, Hot Crown, Magic Spins, and Hot Slot: Mystery Jackpot Joker.
Wazdan plans to introduce engagement-boosting features like Hold the Jackpot, Cash Infinity, and customizable Volatility Levels, reaching a broader audience in Québec.
Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, emphasized the significance of the market entry, saying, "With our sights firmly set on North American expansion, our market entry in Québec is a momentous occasion for Wazdan as we continue to bring innovative experiences to more players than ever before."
Wazdan established a presence in Canada in May 2022, obtaining a supplier license in Ontario from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission.
The company launched its products in Ontario in April 2023 through a deal with Caesars.
In January 2024, Wazdan further expanded its reach by partnering with Neo.bet to provide 20 game titles to the platform.
In addition to Québec, Wazdan has forged partnerships with major players in North America, including Hard Rock, PlayStar, and BetMGM in New Jersey.
