As the LPGA tournament returns to Canada for the CPKC Women's Open, Golf Town proudly debuts its state-of-the-art Players Tour Truck.
This landmark initiative provides female golfers with professional fitting and club services, traditionally available only at men's events.
"From day one, Golf Town has been committed to promoting equality in golf," said Frederick Lecoq, Chief Marketing Officer at Golf Town.
"The Players Tour Truck at the CPKC Women's Open is a significant step in providing female athletes with the resources to perform their best on Canada's greatest stage."
Available throughout the CPKC Women's Open from July 23-28 at Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary, Alberta, the Players Tour Truck offers professional assistance, reflecting Golf Town's dedication to enhancing female golfers' performance.
This initiative is part of a renewed multi-year partnership with Golf Canada and the CPKC Women's Open.
Laurence Applebaum, CEO of Golf Canada, praised the initiative: "We applaud Golf Town's commitment to deliver a premium player equipment and servicing experience. This partnership also continues to provide more viewing options for junior enthusiasts with the Brooke Brigade areas and Autograph Alley."
The Golf Town Players Tour Truck, equipped with the latest golf club technology and staffed by Certified Master Club Fitters and technicians, will offer services such as lie and loft adjustments, regripping, launch monitor rentals, and repairs.
By providing these services on-site, Golf Town ensures female athletes can optimize their equipment and elevate their game.
"Golf Town is promoting equality and growth in women's golf across Canada. I'm excited for myself and fellow players to have access to the Players Tour Truck at this year's CPKC Women's Open," said Brooke Henderson, Golf Town Ambassador and Canada's winningest golfer.
Since 2017, Golf Town has partnered with the CPKC Women's Open through the Brooke Brigade initiative, uniting junior golfers nationwide.
The Players Tour Truck ushers in a new age of inclusion and opportunity for women and girls, setting a new standard for golf in Canada.
