Spin Genie Launches Innovative AR Treasure Quest with $5,000 Las Vegas Prize

Spin Genie, Ontario's enchanting hub for slots, casino games, and live reality shows, is set to debut its first-ever AR Treasure Quest.

This immersive mobile scavenger hunt-style game features a 360° Spin Genie lamp containing hidden treasure, offering participants the chance to win a $5,000 Las Vegas trip for two.

The AR Treasure Quest is a groundbreaking initiative that uses augmented reality (AR) technology to encapsulate Spin Genie's magic and entertainment.

This branded AR experience demonstrates the company's dedication to digital innovation, advanced technology, and an enhanced, intuitive user experience.

To develop the AR experience, Spin Genie collaborated with Aircards, a global production studio specializing in immersive storytelling.

They utilized cutting-edge WebXR and spatial analytics technology to create a web-based immersive portal with gamification elements seamlessly linked to in-app rewards.

Participants can join the AR Treasure Quest by scanning a QR code on their mobile device to enter the interactive Spin Genie lamp portal.

They can place the lamp in their real-world environment and explore it by moving their device, searching for hidden treasures before the sand timer runs out.

Guests can then sign in or register with Spin Genie for a chance to win the Las Vegas trip.

To celebrate the launch of the AR Treasure Quest, Spin Genie will host an exclusive event with limited free tickets available to the public at Hotel X Toronto on July 9, 2024.

Following last fall's highly attended Casino Cruise, this year's event will feature live table games, prizes, and live entertainment, including a spectacular drone show by Illumin.

The AR Treasure Quest is available until Friday, September 6, 2024, and the grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, September 9, 2024.
