The 18th edition of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation's Winter Triathlon concluded on a picturesque Friday, with over 400 representatives from the business community participating and raising a remarkable $850,360.

Organized by the Cercle de Sainte-Justine, a volunteer committee reporting to the Foundation's Board of Directors, the event united the business community for the 18th consecutive year to actively support Sainte-Justine UHC.

The funds raised will contribute to seizing current and future development opportunities in pediatric health at the hospital.

Approximately one hundred four-person teams engaged in skating, cross-country skiing, and running events.

Leading up to the winter classic, each team garnered support from friends and family, raising funds for the children of Sainte-Justine and their families.

Noteworthy achievements include Banque Nationale ($139,073), Axiom ($131,306), and Morgan Stanley ($55,050) as the top three fundraising teams. Axiom and Osler teams secured speed prizes.

Over its 18-year history, the Winter Triathlon has amassed over $10 million, making a significant impact on supporting pediatric health initiatives.

Raphaël, a boy battling spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, served as the event's ambassador, emphasizing the importance of giving back to Sainte-Justine for the services received.

Raphaël and his mother, Laetitia, expressed gratitude for the hospital's support.

The Winter Triathlon is part of the broader Voir Grand campaign, striving to raise $500 million by 2028.

This initiative aims to transform the life course of every child through advanced technologies, including genomics.
