Catena Media Appoints Manuel Stan as New CEO

Catena Media, a leading marketing company, has revealed Manuel Stan as its incoming CEO, effective July 1, 2024. Stan replaces Michael Daly, who resigned last week, with Pierre Cadena temporarily assuming the role until Stan's commencement.

It remains to be seen if Cadena will revert to his previous position.

Stan, with a 16-year stint at Kindred Group, spearheaded marketing teams and served as Senior Vice President of North America. He said, "I am delighted to have this opportunity to drive Catena Media forward on the next stage of its journey as the group takes on new challenges while further advancing its presence in North America."

Catena acknowledged his pivotal role in shaping the affiliate marketing program.

In November 2023, Kindred Group announced its exit from North America, cutting 300 jobs in a cost-saving review ahead of DFJ's €2.45bn acquisition offer.

Expressing enthusiasm, Stan affirmed, "I am delighted to drive Catena Media forward, capitalizing on opportunities in North America." Göran Blomberg, Catena Media's Chairman, hailed Stan as the ideal candidate, citing his leadership skills and extensive industry experience, particularly in the North American market.

He said, "His close knowledge of the North American market and of both the operator and affiliate sides of the business will be a significant asset for Catena Media and our North America-focused organisation as we begin this new chapter for the group."
